Job Title: Financial Analyst Job Location: Athens, Greece Job Description: We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Financial Analysts to join our finance team. The Financial Analyst will critically support our financial analysis and reporting functions, playing a key role in managing providing accurate and data-based information on Company’s profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, and will contribute to the overall financial success of the Company. Responsibilities: • Consolidate and analyze financial data, considering company’s goals and financial standing. • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance. • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks. • Perform financial forecasting and modeling to support decision-making processes. • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization. • Conduct market research and analysis to provide insights into industry trends. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information. • Maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accuracy of information. • Adhere to regulatory requirements while conducting analysis and reporting activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. • Master's degree or professional certification is a strong plus. • Solid experience in finance or accounting, in a consulting company or in the industry. • Strong understanding of accounting, tax laws, financial markets, risk management techniques and financial principles. • Proficiency in reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, financial modeling tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
