Responsibilities:
- Ensures adherence to PPC procurement procedures and policies
- Prepares strategies for the procurement of services, materials and projects
- Undertakes ERP reporting (compiles / analyzes / monitors)
- Supports a group of buyers in organizing and effectively distributing their activities
- Participates in the preparation of the Department’s investment and operating budgets
- Monitors, researches the market and collects, processes cost data of the services of their competence
- Handles procedures of selection, negotiation, assignment, contract signing, supplier management and management of supplier performance, regarding service purchases, equipment supply and projects
- Stays up to date about the framework that governs the Procurement, Projects and Services of PPC
- Draws up and standardizes the commercial terms of the contracts
- Supports throughout the implementation of the contracts, until their completion
- Supports the processing of decentralized procedures for awarding and implementing contracts
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute
- Master’s degree will be considered an additional qualification
- At least seven (7) years of experience in a relevant field. More specifically: a) collaboration with the Business Units, b) market research, c) end to end tendering procedures and d) conclusion of contracts for materials, services and projects
- Experience in energy or telecommunications or banking industries will be considered an additional qualification
- Technical skills in methodologies, tools and techniques of procurement procedures will be considered an additional qualification
- Knowledge of using electronic selection processes and procurement planning systems (e.g. SAP) will be considered an additional qualification
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet
