Join our team and #be_part_of_tomorrow #WeAreAlpha #EnablingProgress #ValuesThatLead #OneTeamOnePurpose Purpose As a Non-Financial Risk Senior Specialist you will be responsible for assessing the Bank’s operational risk processes and policies, by analyzing incident reports and identifying risky procedures for the business. Additionally, the Non-Financial Risk Senior Specialist proposes techniques to minimize financial loss and prevent operational risks. What you will be doing • Monitor the regulatory framework and guidelines (e.g ECB / EBA Guidelines, Basel Committees, Bank of Greece) concerning the non-financial risks management by translating regulatory expectations and standards into the Bank’s non-financial risks framework • Design and write non-financial risks policies and methodologies for monitoring, assessing, and managing non-financial risks at Bank and Group level • Facilitate implementation of these policies and procedures across the organization by preparing and executing relevant training programs • Ensure that non-financial risk policies are implemented by the first Level of Defense Business Areas • Participate in various risk assessments, such as new products / service launch, transformation projects affecting the Bank’s non-financial risks profile and third-party risk assessments • Prepare high-quality risk reports for senior management and relevant committees, providing insights into non-financial risks • Participate in regulatory exercises such as stress-testing, ICAAP report etc. • Perform ad hoc RCSAs on end-to-end processes and emerging risks • Communicate with the Non-Financial Risk Partner (1st Line of Contact) What you need to have • A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration or in any other related field of study • A Master’s degree in any of the abovementioned fields and / or relevant certifications (e.g. CRISC, FRM, CAMS) is preferred • At least five (5) years of work experience in risk management, audit or compliance, preferably within the banking or financial services sector • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational measures • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively across departments • High ethical standards and a strong commitment to fostering a culture of compliance and accountability • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken) What we offer It’s all about our people.
