MES/MOM PRODUCT OWNER 📍ELVALHALCOR - Aluminium Rolling Division Introduction about the Organization Elval is the aluminium rolling division of ElvalHalcor S.A. With years of experience in aluminium rolling division, it is one of the most important aluminium industries in the European and international markets. Key Accountabilities Role Description: The MES/MOM Product Owner is responsible for the strategic direction, development, and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) / Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) systems within the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the MES/MOM solutions meet business needs and drive operational efficiency. The MES/MOM Product Owner will act as the liaison between IT and manufacturing, translating business requirements into technical specifications and overseeing the product lifecycle from conception to deployment, ongoing improvement, and support. Main Responsibilities: ► Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the MES/MOM product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and technological advancements ► Service Delivery: Ensure timely delivery, testing, and deployment of MES/MOM systems ► Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing, IT, and other departments to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful implementation ► Technical Specifications: Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional requirements for the MES/MOM systems ► Product Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring efficient delivery of features and enhancements ► Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement MES/MOM solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency ► Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality MES/MOM solutions ► Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of the MES/MOM system Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience ✔ BSc/MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field ✔ Professional experience in MES/MOM implementations, with a proven track record of success in at least one full cycle implementation project in MES/MOM system ✔ 3+ years’ experience in IT product owner/business analyst role with knowledge in supply chain and manufacturing operations as applicable to MES/MOM ✔ Knowledge of MES/MOM systems, software development lifecycle, Industrial IoT, Data Integrity principles, MES/MOM integrations with enterprise systems like ERP, Data Historian etc ✔ Experience with Agile methodologies and product development framework ✔ Familiarity with project management tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software will be a useful asset ✔ Exposure to enterprise environments and large-scale MES projects with hands-on experience with MES configuration and integration will be positively evaluated ✔ Exposure to Metal Industry or relevant heavy industry environment will be considered a plus ✔ Excellent communication and presentation skills ✔ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously ✔ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities ✔ Proficient in English About the benefits 🎁 Our Company provides a dynamic working environment, in which cooperation and continuous learning are encouraged and career development relates to performance.
