Position Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join our Group IT. By joining this role, you’ll be part of the Group IT Operations and will be responsible for implementing our security strategy, architecting & delivering modern technologies, embedding security best practices in every implementation, maintaining the uninterrupted operations of our banking services & platforms, either hosted in our own DC premises or on public cloud providers. As a Senior Cyber Security Engineer, a hands-on role in architecting and delivering cutting-edge security technologies, your responsibilities will extend to maintaining the seamless security operations of our banking services and lead security technologies implementation aiming the continuous improvement of our security frameworks. Will work closely with the Group IT Security & Group IT teams for the implementation of new technologies, security policies and procedures, execution of security assessments & provide analysis reports, ensuring IT systems patching levels and leading relevant initiatives. Your key responsibilities will be: • Leading the architecture and deployment of new technologies to improve ways of working and overall efficiency of our security posture; deep experience on both on-premises and cloud technologies (including OSs, virtualization, databases security, networking, firewalling, cloud security (Azure and AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies such as Openshift/Kubernetes. Additionally, experience in EDR, XDR and SIEM technologies. • Strong experience of Application Servers implementation (IIS, JBoss, WebLogic, Apache/Tomcat) and Advance Architecture Design knowledge (2Tier/3Tier Applications) • Ability to lead and prioritize security pipeline activities for our IT security and regulatory initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives • Ensure infrastructure and operational services adhere to agreed-upon security and service levels, overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of security implementations • Involved in security operations, including threat monitoring, incident handling, and response. Actively participate in monitoring Sentinel, incident analysis, and management, as well as optimization of XDR. • Introduce and improve procedures and metrics to measure service effectiveness, identifying areas for continuous improvement across both security architecture and security operations domains.
