Job Title: Sustainability Analyst Location: Athens, Greece Description We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Analyst to join our team. In this role, the Sustainability Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and assessing our company's performance in relation to Environmental, Social, and Governance factors. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying opportunities for improvement and enhance our company’s sustainability efforts. Responsibilities • Conduct research and analysis on ESG issues relevant to our industry and operations. • Consolidate and analyze data on environmental performance, including energy consumption, emissions, waste management, and resource usage. • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends related to ESG issues. • Collaborate with internal teams, including sustainability, investor relations and finance, to integrate ESG considerations into decision-making processes. • Prepare reports and presentations on ESG performance for internal stakeholders, senior management and other external parties. • Support ESG-related reporting requirements, such as sustainability reports, ESG ratings, and investor surveys. • Assist in developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to improve our ESG performance and enhance our sustainability credentials. • Engage with external stakeholders, agencies, NGOs, and industry associations, to communicate our ESG efforts and respond to inquiries. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CSR, SRI) is highly preferred. • Solid experience in ESG analysis, sustainable investing, corporate sustainability, or related fields. • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, UNPRI, and SDGs. • Proficiency in ESG data sources, research tools, and analytical methods. • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
