Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Planning Engineer (Director level) to join our organization and take a leading role in optimizing and managing project planning activities across a portfolio of construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee and guide planning teams, coordinate project performance reporting, and ensure that all planning efforts are fully aligned with the company’s strategic and project objectives. Furthermore, the Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing, mentoring, and expanding a high-performing planning team, potentially in collaboration with external consultants to enhance capabilities and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and align planning teams across multiple projects, ensuring uniformity and precision in project scheduling • Consolidate reports on project progress, identify critical risks, and provide strategic insights to senior management • Ensure adherence to project timelines and recommend corrective actions as needed • Monitor project performance using industry-standard planning tools and methodologies (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.) • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to optimize project schedules and resource allocation • Assist commercial department in preparation of EOT • Develop and implement a structured training program to enhance the capabilities of the planning team • Identify skill gaps within the team and provide guidance or arrange external training sessions if required • Establish best practices and standardized procedures for planning across the company Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in planning and scheduling within large-scale construction projects • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) • Proven experience in leading planning teams and consolidating project reports at a senior level • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience in training and team development Apply today and be part of a dynamic team!
