Job Title: Environment Analyst Job Location: Athens, Greece Job Description: We are seeking an Environment Analyst to join our team. In this role, the Environment Analyst will assess environmental policies, regulations, and practices to ensure compliance and promote sustainable practices within the organization. Responsibilities will involve data collection and analysis as well as the development of strategies to minimize environmental impact. Responsibilities: • Collect, analyze and interpret environmental data related to air, water and soil quality as well as waste management practices. • Conduct environmental assessments and audits to evaluate compliance with regulations and sustainability practices. • Prepare reports on climate change and environmental impacts and recommend improvements or corrective actions. • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop and implement environmental policies and initiatives. • Assist in the preparation of environmental impact statements and sustainability reports. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental programs and initiatives. • Stay updated on environmental regulations, trends and best practices. • Develop and deliver training programs on environmental awareness and compliance. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field. • Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CSR, SRI) is highly preferred. • Solid experience in environmental analysis, sustainability reporting or related fields. • Familiarity with ESG standards, sustainability practices, frameworks and research tools • Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
