Job Title: Production Engineer Halcor is the Copper and Alloys Extrusion Division of ElvalHalcor and together with three more companies form the copper segment of ElvalHalcor that specializes in the production, processing and marketing of copper and copper alloys products with dynamic commercial presence in the European and global markets. The ELVALHALCOR - Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division is searching for a passionate PRODUCTION ENGINEER with a continuous improvement mindset to join our dynamic Production team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the production process (Process Owner), according to technical specifications and KPIs, the selection and evaluation of raw materials suppliers, as well as the quality assurance of the product based on Quality Plan • Contributing to Production Planning in accordance with annual, monthly and daily goals, including human resources and machine planning, raw materials order and materials and intermediate products storage • Embracing continuous improvement philosophy, aiming at productivity growth, cost reduction & product quality development • Contributing to the implementation of trial productions, according to Research & Development plan • Ensuring the smooth operation and the compliance with the Maintenance Plan of machinery • Ensuring safety rules and 5s orderliness rules are applied in the production site, including the supervision and coordination of internal teams or/and external contactors • Responsible for team’s training, regarding the production process Requirements: • Master’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Production & Management Engineering • A minimum of 2-5 years’ hands-on experience in industrial production environment required • Full professional proficiency in English.
