Starting with the role: We are looking for a Head of AI who will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions across the organization. The Head of AI will oversee a team of AI engineers and Data Scientists and collaborate with other departments and external partners to deliver innovative and impactful AI products and services. The Head of AI will also propose solutions that support the AI vision and strategy for the organization and ensure alignment with the business goals and values. During your day you will: Drafts and executes the Group’s AI strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and goals. Stays at the forefront of emerging AI technologies, trends, and best practices to inspire innovation and maintain the organization's competitive edge. Oversees the design, development and deployment of AI-driven solutions that address specific business needs and challenges and ensure quality, scalability, and reliability. Collaborates with key stakeholders across the Group to identify opportunities for AI integration aligned with strategy. Guides, mentors and manages team members by providing technical expertise, business insights and feedback. Establishes metrics and KPIs to evaluate the performance, adoption, and ROI of AI initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and value generation. Communicates and presents the AI vision, strategy and results to the senior management and stakeholders. What you need to stand out: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Master of Science degree with relevant specialization would be considered a plus At least 3 years of proven experience in traditional AI projects in forecasting Experience in Generative AI projects would be considered a plus Knowledge of technologies, tools, and platforms for AI development and Data Science such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure, OpenAI etc. Experience in Business intelligence and analytics Excellent communications skills both verbal and written, in Greek and English languages Creative, innovative and visionary mindset Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly and apply them effectively Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy
