About the Role
We are seeking an experienced strategic transactions professional to support our Corporate Development and M&A department. The team is responsible for executing strategic acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and partnerships in alignment with the Group’s objectives for sustainable banking, capital optimization, profitability, and operational efficiency. Key activities include investment evaluation, transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiations and execution, in close coordination with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and investors.
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving high-impact transactions that will influence the Group’s long-term growth and strategic positioning. The role will be directly reporting to the Head of Corporate Development and M&A.
Responsibilities
• Identify and assess investment opportunities aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives
• Coordinate and conduct due diligence processes, including financial analysis, valuation, risk assessment, and operational review of target companies or business units
• Structure and negotiate the transaction terms, coordinating the drafting and execution of agreements in collaboration with legal, financial, and regulatory teams
• Manage relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, legal counsels, and financial consultants, ensuring seamless transaction execution
• Support the preparation of offers, investor outreach, and competitive bidding processes for asset sales and acquisitions
• Participate actively in the preparation of findings, investment proposals, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and other approval bodies
• Provide market intelligence, strategic insights, and regular updates to senior management, supporting informed decision-making
• Ensure successful completion post signing, by setting up appropriate action plan and follow-up on implementation
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or any related field
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• 6-8 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, FIG/Deals consulting, or related roles
• Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes
• Extensive experience in analyzing Financial Statements with strong ability to synthesize relevant information and produce meaningful remarks, facilitating the decision-making process
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for M&A transactions
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions and deliver results under tight deadlines
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
