About the Role
We are seeking a strategic transactions professional to support our Corporate Development and M&A department.
The team is responsible for executing strategic acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and partnerships in alignment with the Group’s objectives for sustainable banking, capital optimization, profitability, and operational efficiency. Key activities include investment evaluation, transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiations and execution, in close coordination with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and investors.
This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving high-impact transactions that will influence the Group’s long-term growth and strategic positioning.
Responsibilities
• Act as the central project management lead for M&A transactions, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of buy-side and sell-side activities
• Oversee the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders
• Deep understanding of all transaction aspects, components and interdependencies with the ability to direct all internal and external stakeholders for the achievement of successful transaction completion
• Support transaction structuring by providing financial, operational, and process-driven insights
• Participate in competitive sale processes, including investor engagement, preparation of marketing materials, and tracking of investors’ interest
• Facilitate the due diligence process by gathering and consolidating key documentation, tracking findings, and ensuring smooth collaboration between involved parties
• Assist in the preparation of investment proposals, presentations, and reports for executive decision-making bodies
• Coordinate with legal, finance, risk, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements
• Support post-transaction execution, including onboarding of acquired entities and ensuring seamless transition for divestitures
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or any related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in project management, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, or related disciplines
• Proven expertise in project management, with a strong ability to oversee complex transactions, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive initiatives to successful completion
• Familiarity with M&A processes, due diligence, valuation, and regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams
