Join our team and #be_part_of_tomorrow #AlphaBank #TheAlphaBlueprint #Tomorrow Purpose Alpha Bank is currently seeking a professional and experienced Group Consolidation Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of the Group’s Financial Statements according to International Accounting Standards (IAS) as well as ensuring their submission to the competent Supervisory Authorities. The Group Consolidation Manager will report to the Financial Accounting Director. and will be instrumental in driving and improving, through increased efficiencies, the Group’s Financial Statements. What You Will Be Doing • Lead the group consolidation process of the Bank and the Group ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial figures on a consolidated basis. • Ensure accuracy, integrity and timely submission of financial reporting (annual and interim Group Financial Statements), ensuring adherence to International Financial Reporting and Accounting Standards. • Oversee the Group Loan impairment provisions and related forecasts, for the preparation οf respective reports, in accordance with respective obligations of the Bank and the Group. • Liaise with external auditors to ensure completion of external audit, including discussions for audit findings and management letters. • Provide input regarding regulatory reporting and translate its impact in accounting matters. • Design, implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks of financial and regulatory reporting analysis and quantification of strategic transactions. • Convey technical accounting matters to other accounting experts and to non-accounting staff members, by adapting their communication style where necessary. • Cultivate a high-performance team, by inspiring their team while fostering a culture of empowerment, accountability, and inclusion. What You Need To Have • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or in any other related field of study. • A Master’s degree in the above-mentioned fields of study will be considered a plus. • A professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or a local equivalent. • At least five (5) years of professional experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in a managerial / team leader role, preferably of a listed entity. • Strong leadership skills and experience leading teams. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to challenge the status quo and ability to establish improvements. • Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize and handle multiple assignments. • Excellent command of the English and the Greek language (both written and spoken). • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
