[email protected] Responsibilities: - Establishes the needs of the company, coordinates and oversees the development and maintenance of network infrastructure in cooperation with other IT departments - Communicates and collaborates with other telecommunications service providers for the installation, upgrade and maintenance of the company's telecommunications infrastructure - Plans and develops the Company’s network and telecommunications infrastructure - Evaluates business requirements, the selection of the appropriate network technology, the designing of network architecture and the oversight of its implementation - Coordinates activities such as the installation, configuration and interconnection of network and telecommunication infrastructure systems - Keeps the team informed on the latest developments in telecommunications technology and best practices - Collects network performance data, monitors network security and optimizes network and telecommunications infrastructure performance of the organization - Manages, oversees and provides technical advice on telecommunications systems Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science or Computer Engineering - A Master’s Degree in Telecommunications or Networks would be an asset - At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in architecture design, implementation and monitoring of telecommunications infrastructure and networks - At least three (3) years of relevant experience in the design, management and operation of telecommunications service information systems - At least seven (7) years of experience in networks and telecommunications at IT Departments in the field of Telecommunications - Certified Network professional (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet etc.) would be an asset - Azure Certifications (e.g. ΑΖ104, ΑΖ700, AZ305, ΑΖ500 etc.) would be an additional asset - Oracle Cloud Certifications (e.g. OCI Administration, OCI Architect etc.) would be an additional asset - Knowledge of project management tools/methodologies would be an additional asset - Knowledge of operational and technical requirements of IT projects/ programs would be an additional asset - Good Knowledge of English Language - Availability in cases of emergency (upon telephone contact) Competencies: - Accountability & result orientation - Problem solving & decision making - Understanding of the business environment - Teamwork & cross-departmental collaboration - Effective communication Benefits: - Inclusive work environment - Continuous training & participation in development activities - Group health and life insurance program - Reduced electricity tariff
