Job Summary: AVAX is seeking a Junior Financial Management Analyst to strengthen our Financial Reporting & Planning team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in financial management reporting, planning, and analysis while supporting key business decisions. The successful candidate will work closely with the team to analyze financial statements, monitor performance, and assist in preparing planning and budgeting reports for management. A key aspect of the role includes providing support on bank financing and loan-related projects at both company and project levels. A self-motivated and team spirit individual is required for this role who is capable on multitasking assignments and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Financial Reporting and Planning teams, assisting in management and third-party reporting as well as the financial management and planning process. • Support project cash flow preparations, monitoring, and project financing processes. • Consolidate and analyze financial data to provide meaningful insights. • Monitor financial performance, identify trends in figures, and provide analytical support. • Assist in audit processes by preparing necessary financial data and documentation. • Contribute to the preparation of presentations for Management, the Board of Directors, and external stakeholders. • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support senior management decision-making. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration; a Master’s degree in a related field is required. • A professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CFA) would be considered as an asset. • Familiarity with financial reporting and planning concepts. • Three (3) years of prior experience will be an advantage —selected candidates will receive internal training and development. • Strong proficiency in written and verbal English communication. • Interest in industry trends, including AI applications in finance. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills. • Positive attitude, professionalism, teamwork skills, and a self-motivated approach.
