[email protected] Responsibilities: - Performs transactions in energy goods on a daily basis, such as: electricity, natural gas, CO2 emission rights, in organized markets or bilaterally - Manages the portfolio of energy contracts and ensures the implementation of the company’ strategies - Develops relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure agreements - Participates in auctions of transmission rights related to the above goods - Submits cross-border electricity flow and purchase order programs - Submits electricity purchase and sales orders - Designs strategies and proposals for the implementation of the Department’ objectives - Prepares analyses and reports Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a local or foreign University, preferably in Engineering, Economics or other Natural and Financial Sciences - At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in a) executing transactions in electricity and/or natural gas products or b) participating in energy or non-energy stock markets or c) energy market analysis - Experience in the energy sector will be considered an additional qualification - Certification as a negotiator in the Greek or foreign market - Knowledge of programming (VBA, Matlab, Python, Java, R) will be considered an additional qualification - Good knowledge of the English language - Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet - Availability in flexible working hours - Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact) Competencies: - Accountability and result orientation - Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration - Problem-solving and decision-making - Effective communication - Personal development - Business understanding - Change management Benefits: - Inclusive working environment - Continuous training and participation in development activities - Group health and life insurance program - Reduced electricity consumption invoice
