About the Role We are seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Project Manager to join our Corporate Development and Mergers-Acquisitions department. The team is responsible for executing strategic acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings in alignment with the Group’s objectives for sustainable banking, capital optimization, and operational efficiency. This role will focus on managing workflows, coordinating key activities, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic acquisitions and divestitures in close coordination with internal stakeholders, external advisors, and investors. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving high-impact transactions that will influence the Group’s long-term growth and strategic positioning. Responsibilities • Act as the central project management lead for Mergers and Acquisitions transactions, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of buy-side and sell-side activities • Oversee the end-to-end transaction lifecycle, managing timelines, milestones, and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders • Participate in negotiations with clients, investors, and counterparties, ensuring alignment with the Group’s strategic and financial objectives. • Support transaction structuring by providing financial, operational, and process-driven insights • Manage competitive sale processes, including investor engagement, preparation of marketing materials, and tracking of investor interest • Facilitate the due diligence process by gathering and consolidating key documentation, tracking findings, and ensuring smooth collaboration between involved parties • Assist in the preparation of investment proposals, presentations, and reports for executive decision-making bodies • Coordinate with legal, finance, risk, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and external regulatory requirements • Support post-transaction execution, including onboarding acquired entities or ensuring seamless transition for divestitures Qualifications • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any related field • Up to 6 years of experience in project management, mergers & acquisitions, corporate finance, or related disciplines • Proven expertise in project management, with a strong ability to oversee complex transactions, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive initiatives to successful completion • Familiarity with Mergers and Acquisitions processes, due diligence, valuation, and regulatory requirements • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams What's In It For You In our bank it is a top priority to provide a modern work environment, where all our employees can perform and grow.
