We are looking for a highly skilled QA/QC Engineer to join our team. Duties and responsibilities: • Monitor and inspect construction processes to ensure they adhere to project specifications, codes and standards • Assist the QA/QC Manager in developing and implementing the project-specific QA/QC plan • Assist in the development and review of construction procedures, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations • Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders • Assist in conducting quality control inspections and audits of the construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications • Document and report any non-conformances or deficiencies to the QA/QC Manager and coordinate corrective actions • Assist in maintaining the project inspection and test plan (ITP) and ensuring its proper implementation • Participate in project meetings and assist in the preparation of meeting minutes and reports • Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to project requirements • Assist in the preparation and review of final turnover documentation Job qualifications and requirements: • BSc in Civil Engineering or related field • Master’s degree in will be considered an asset • 5+ years of experience in construction industry • Knowledge of construction codes, standards and relevant regulations • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document deficiencies • Excellent analytical and reporting skills • Proficiency in MS Office, QA/QC databases and report management tools The Company offers: • A competitive compensation package • Private medical insurance • Engaging and challenging tasks within large-scale projects • Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth • A positive and collaborative working environment • Committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all team members.
