Overview
TITAN Group is seeking a strategic and globally minded Senior Materials Trading Manager to join the Group Materials Trading team. The role—based in the US, Asia, or Greece—will play a pivotal part in scaling the Group’s global trading volumes for cement, clinker, and especially supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). This role reports to the Group Head of Materials Trading.
This senior commercial position requires strong international experience, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in industrial materials trading.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Trading & Commercial Development
• Lead global sourcing and selling of SCMs, cement, and clinker.
• Grow trading volumes towards Group targets (SCMs to 10MT/year by 2030; cement & clinker approx. 3MT/year).
• Build long-term partnerships, especially in GBFS/GGBFS.
• Maximize volume, profitability, and ROIC across regions.
• Manage major accounts and negotiate strategic contracts.
2. Market Intelligence & Business Development
• Identify and evaluate new commercial opportunities in traditional and low-carbon building materials.
• Support Group Strategy, Business Development projects, and investment assessments.
• Contribute to mid-term (2–5 year) commercial planning based on market, regulatory, and geopolitical trends.
3. Global Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Coordinate closely with Shipping, Operations, Legal, Finance, Strategy & Business Development.
• Liaise with regional Business Units, Country Heads, Commercial Directors, and CFOs.
• Ensure smooth contract execution with Trading Operations.
• Collaborate with Group Project Developers on investment-related initiatives.
4. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
• Oversee supplier and customer compliance assurance.
• Ensure adherence to the Group Code of Business Conduct and all relevant policies.
• Manage commercial and geopolitical risks across global markets.
5. Leadership & Influence
• Guide BUs in aligning commercial and procurement strategies.
• Influence decision-making across regions to balance short-term performance with long-term growth.
• Represent TITAN in discussions with senior leaders of major trading groups and global counterparties.
Ειδικές Δεξιότητες
Candidate Profile
- MSc in Business or Engineering, or MBA.
- At least 10 years’ experience in trading, commercial, or business development roles in the industrial/building materials sector.
- Strong international network and proven knowledge of seaborne trade and maritime logistics.
- Fluency in English; Greek is a strong asset.
- High PC literacy (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Military obligations completed (where required).

- Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and synthesis skills with ability to produce concise reports and proposals.
