The ELVALHALCOR - Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division is searching for a BUSINESS ANALYST with strategic thinking to join our dynamic Finance department team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece. Role Description Key Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics. • Evaluate business performance using key metrics and analytical tools. • Analyze internal and external data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. • Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans and business models. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic initiatives. • Support the preparation and presentation of strategic plans to senior management and stakeholders. • Develop financial models to assess the impact of various strategic options and scenarios. • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments for strategic projects. • Provide financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making. • Manage strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives. • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management. • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). • Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. • 2-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, financial analysis, or a related field. • Proven track record of supporting strategic planning and business development activities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus. • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of business dynamics. • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work. • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
