Halcor is the Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division of ElvalHalcor and together with three more companies form the copper segment of ElvalHalcor that specializes in the production, processing and marketing of copper and copper alloys products with dynamic commercial presence in the European and global markets. For more than 80 years, Halcor has been offering innovative and added-value solutions that meet contemporary client demands. The ELVALHALCOR - Copper & Alloys Extrusion Division is searching for a BUSINESS ANALYST with strategic thinking to join our dynamic Finance department team in our plant in Oinofyta Voiotia, Greece. Role Description Key Responsibilities: • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics. • Evaluate business performance using key metrics and analytical tools. • Analyze internal and external data to provide actionable insights and recommendations. • Assist in the development of long-term strategic plans and business models. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategic initiatives. • Support the preparation and presentation of strategic plans to senior management and stakeholders. • Develop financial models to assess the impact of various strategic options and scenarios. • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and ROI assessments for strategic projects. • Provide financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making. • Manage strategic projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives. • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management. • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and initiatives. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs). • Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. • 2-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, financial analysis, or a related field. • Proven track record of supporting strategic planning and business development activities. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in financial modeling and quantitative analysis. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to synthesize complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus. • Strategic thinker with a keen understanding of business dynamics. • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work. • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
