As Business Data Governance Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a Bank-wide data governance framework with the relevant polices, procedures and guidelines, as well as for ensuring all information assets are proactively and efficiently managed throughout the Bank, to foster innovation, to amplify the value and quality of corporate data and to warrant compliance with the relevant regulations. What you will be doing • Support the development of the Bank’s Data Governance Framework and ensure its proper implementation across business areas. • Drive the design of organizational and governance structure (i.e., roles, working groups, responsibilities) of the Data GovernanceFramework, whilst maintaining inventory of the Bank’sBusiness Glossary Owners/ Data Stewards. •Determine Business Data Owners, who are responsible for the definition of key data elements, as well as business areas that make use of relevant information. • Ensure compliance of third-party applications integrated into Bank’s systems (“off-the-shelf solutions”), to the Data Governance Framework. • Indicate priorities regarding the implementation of the Data Governance Framework by the business data domains, and for scheduling of the new data entries. • Identify new business opportunities, pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the marketplace. • Support the development of the policies and processes regarding the governance of Critical data, in collaboration with the business areas. • Research best practices to foster innovation while using corporate data. • Adapt all the necessary actions to warrant compliance with regulations and standards. • Ensure the Bank’s compliance with the Data Governance Framework, its Policies and Procedures. • Monitor the Data Governance Framework effectiveness and lead possible amendments for achieving continuous improvement. • Provide guidelines to Group Companies Liaisons for applying the Data Governance Framework and monitor its operationalization. What you need to have •A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information System, Information management or related fields. • A Master’s degree in Total Quality Management, Business Intelligence or Data Management (preferred). • A minimum of seven (7) years of working experience in Data governance and data management solutions and tooling. • Teamwork spirit and ability to cooperate effectively. • Analytical thinking and attention to detail. • Communication and stakeholder management skills. • Excellent command of the English and the Greek language (both written and spoken).
