CREDIT ANALYST Main Purpose: We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our Credit Risk team in Athens who has strong foundations in structured, leveraged, or project finance, ideally gained in a blue-chip bank, trading house, or similar institution. You’ll evaluate counterparties and structured trade transactions, perform cash flow modelling, and support risk-based decision-making in a dynamic and international business context. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: - 3+ years of experience in credit risk roles within a blue-chip bank, trading house, or financial institution - Strong background in leveraged finance, structured finance, project finance, or related fields - Proven ability to build and analyse cash flow models and financial analysis, including stress scenario testing - Familiarity with exposure risk metrics such as EPE and PFE - High degree of financial literacy and analytical rigor - Knowledge of the mining or natural resources sector is a plus - Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude - Fluent in English - Someone who is organised, careful, pays attention to details, is able to work in a high-pressured environment, dealing with a range of high priority issues - Strong analytical skills Key Responsibilities: -Conduct credit risk assessments on counterparties, including corporates, financial institutions, and project entities -Develop and stress-test cash flow models to assess debt service capacity under various scenarios -Interpret and analyze Expected Exposure (EE) and Potential Future Exposure (PFE) metrics in support of credit decisions -Assess transactional structures including collateral, guarantees, and off-take agreements -Collaborate closely with traders, legal, and compliance teams across different geographies -Monitor ongoing credit risk developments and recommend mitigation strategies Key Relationships and Department Overview: -Credit Department -Trading Department -Finance Department -Operations Department -Counterparts Reporting Structure -Trafigura Head of Credit Metals and Minerals Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and take pride in a diverse workforce.
