Facilities Management (FM) We are seeking a highly experienced Facilities Management (FM) / Technical Services Director to join our team at the Property, Facility and Experience Management unit. Our new colleague will be reporting to the Head of Operations. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Facilities Management (FM) / Technical Services Director to lead the strategic and operational delivery of all hard and soft services across our portfolio of premium assets. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, this role plays a vital part in ensuring that our properties operate at the highest possible standards of safety, reliability, and resident comfort. The successful candidate will be an expert in FM best practices with a proven ability to lead teams, manage service contracts, and continuously improve building performance and resident satisfaction. In detail, the Facilities Management (FM) / Technical Services Director, amongst others, will have the following responsibilities: • Lead and manage all day-to-day FM operations, ensuring that high standards of building upkeep, safety, and service quality are consistently achieved. • Develop and implement FM policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintenance strategies aligned with the company’s luxury residential standards. • Coordinate delivery of both hard services (e.g., mechanical, electrical, HVAC, life safety systems) and soft services (e.g., cleaning, concierge, landscaping, security). • Oversee the development and execution of the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program across all assets by the FM subcontractors • Ensure efficient management of reactive maintenance, with robust escalation procedures and contractor performance monitoring. • Ensure full compliance with all relevant health & safety legislation, building regulations, and statutory inspections. • Maintain accurate records of testing, certifications, and asset registers. • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed. • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of FM engineers, supervisors, and on-site operatives. • Work collaboratively with Property Managers, Concierge teams, and Client Services to ensure resident needs are met promptly and professionally. • Attend resident meetings and client reviews as required to address FM-related issues or updates.
