Job title: Senior Data Architect Overview TITAN Group is looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to design, govern, and evolve the Group’s enterprise data architecture. The position will be based at TITAN’s headquarters in Athens, Greece. The Senior Data Architect will own the end-to-end data architecture across the Group’s Data Lake House, defining and formalizing the standards, rules, and best practices that guide how data is modeled, governed, and utilized for analytics and business intelligence. Partnering with Group IT, Digital, and Business teams, the role will ensure a unified, scalable, and secure data environment that supports TITAN’s global digital transformation journey. This role reports to the Group Data Director and is part of the Group Digital & Strategy Department. Key Responsibilities • Own and evolve the target reference architecture for the Group Data Lake House (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks/Delta/Medallion, Databricks SQL). • Define reusable data design patterns, SLAs, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and scalability. • Establish and enforce data governance frameworks (catalog, lineage, RBAC, data sharing) ensuring compliance, data security, and collaboration across the organization. • Design data architecture layers to securely expose curated and operational data products—enabling global consistency with local autonomy. • Support Master Data Management (MDM) architecture and rollout, aligning data domains, models, and workflows with the Group’s MDM strategy. • Guide ingestion and management of industrial/OT and IoT data (OPC/data loggers, Event Hubs, time series databases such as Timescale/Influx) into the Lake House, ensuring cost efficiency and observability. • Standardize semantic and consumption layers for analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) to enable consistent, self-service insights. • Collaborate with cybersecurity, legal, and compliance teams to ensure responsible data usage and protection across the Group. Candidate Profile Education: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: • Proven experience in data architecture with recent ownership of a cloud-based lake house (Azure Data Lake, ADF, Databricks/Delta, Databricks SQL). • Strong understanding of data modeling (medallion, data product, data mesh) and governance (catalog, lineage, RBAC). • Hands-on experience with MDM frameworks, data quality, and metadata management. • Knowledge of industrial and IoT data flows, including time series and streaming data ingestion. • Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable designs.
