Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst Main duties and responsibilities • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources, including external ERPs and company’s ERP application; • Identify trends in each dataset; • Perform root cause analysis on operational inefficiencies, such as: (Delays , Excessive fuel usage , Unexpected maintenance needs ) • Develop interactive dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs • Utilize Power BI tools to create real-time dashboards. • Provide automated alerts and notifications for operational risks or compliance breaches. • Integrate and manage on-premise and cloud-based maritime databases • Develop ETL pipelines to automate data collection from vessel sensors and ship logs • Support commercial, technical, and operations teams with data-driven insights. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across vessel reports and shore-based ERP systems. • Standardize data collection from vessels to improve reporting reliability and reduce human errors • Implement predictive maintenance models using historical defect reports. Qualifications • University or degree in computing or a related subject, such as Computer science, Information technology, Mathematics, Business information systems; • Experience in software development with a minimum two (2) years will be an asset; • Specialization in specific programming languages used for the pruprose • Experience in working with databases and multiple data sources; • Experience in frontend/backend design and development; • Good communications skills; • Ability to word with a team • Very good command in English Language.
