The job: Analysis of rich qualitative data on what participants say, do, and make. Analyzing and reporting on their explicit, observable, tacit, and latent needs to translate them into UX goals and actionable insights. Tasks and daily activity: -generate and design low-fidelity prototypes (wireframes) during participatory research and design activities. -actively involve the users in the process of incorporating state-of-the-art methods and tools. -designing and running participatory prototyping workshops and sessions of critique and co-creation and analyzing the collected data. -new methods for analyzing the collected data, including wall mapping and affinity diagramming, which are more efficient and effective with large datasets, -Participatory design, -ethnographic interviewing, -paper prototyping, and design toolkits, -human-computer interaction research, -generate actionable insights to support both summative and formative results, -User-centered design, -design for all, -universal color design, -inclusive usability/holistic perspective in problem-solving
