The Industrial Systems Institute (ISI) based in Patras is a R&D institute of excellence , conducting basic research and exploratory development in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for both the Greek and European industries. SMARTECH research group of ISI is a leading force of pioneering research in the fields of telecommunications and information technology, and is actively involved in major European research projects, both as coordinator and partner, collaborating closely with European companies and industrial stakeholders. SMARTECH is directed by Prof. Christos Verykoukis and fostered by a strong team formed by numerous PhD students, post-doc and researcher engineers. SMARTECH is seeking senior researchers (PhD holders) with expertise in the design, analysis, and implementation of 6G networks and the cloud–edge continuum, in the context of several ongoing EU-funded research projects.
