In this role, you will strongly commit to personal learning and development and explore opportunities to make an impact by delivering exceptional client services and act as a brand ambassador to help attract top talent. • Manage accounting, Finance and Tax compliance Outsourcing activities to clients; • Preparation of statutory Financial statements under the Greek GAAP and IFRS; • Preparation of corporate tax returns, (VAT,CIT, Withholding tax etc); • Advise clients on statutory accounting and tax compliance requirements; • Provide initial recommendations of current tax legislation to Manager level practitioners; • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the client; • Provide guidance to his team that will be consisting of 2-3 Junior/Consultant level practitioners. #WinningRequirements Potential candidates should fulfill the following criteria: • Four (4) to five (5) years of relevant work experience in a professional services firm serving clients in different industries; • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Business Administration from a well-acclaimed University in Greece or abroad; • Excellent command of the English language; • A professional approach, business acumen and strong communication skills; • Computer literacy. The following skills would be considered as assets, although they are not required: • Prior working experience on a similar role as a tax compliance practitioner or as member of a Tax Audit Certificate Team (TACT); • Prior working experience as a member of an Audit & Assurance team having participated on Audits of Financial Statements; • Provide initial recommendations of current tax legislation across the Global Tax and Legal function to Manager level practitioners; • Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and develops informed recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy; • Start processes and identify sustainable planning opportunities to help clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines, and realize business goals; • Experience in performing tax compliance audits and serving clients in different industries; • Experience in helping clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines, and realize business goals; • A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Auditing or related disciplines; • Completion of the Long-Term TAX Seminar provided by AUEB or other providers; • A Professional Qualification (ACCA, ACA, or similar); • Ability to work with minimal supervision. #AboutTax Managing taxes is a critical part of an effective business strategy and our Tax Business offers clients a broad range of fully integrated tax services by using the help of modern technology.
