As we expand our payments and financial services ecosystem, we are seeking a Senior UX/UI Expert with deep experience in large-scale, regulated, transaction-heavy environments to lead our internal and external design and development efforts.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the customer experience architecture of a high-growth platform — combining product vision, user empathy, and data-driven optimization.
Role Overview:
As Senior UX/UI Expert, you will own the full user experience vision — ensuring every customer journey, across onboarding, payments, and servicing, is intuitive, compliant, and optimized for conversion and satisfaction.
You will lead both internal teams and external design/development partners, driving UX excellence across the entire platform lifecycle. You’ll work hand in hand with data analysts, developers, and regulatory experts to continuously monitor, measure, and improve user flows and interfaces.
Your goal: deliver a seamless, secure, and emotionally engaging experience for customers across every touchpoint.
Responsibilities:
Customer Experience Ownership
• Lead the end-to-end UX/UI strategy and execution across all digital products, with a focus on payment flows, onboarding, and servicing journeys;
• Monitor customer journeys and identify friction points using analytics, NPS, and behavioral insights;
• Partner with compliance and regulatory teams to ensure designs meet all financial services and data protection standards while maintaining frictionless experience;
• Translate complex financial flows into intuitive, human-centered interfaces;
Continuous Improvement & Optimization
• Define UX metrics and continuously optimize funnel performance (conversion, activation, retention);
• Create hypotheses and run A/B or multivariate tests to validate experience improvements;
• Drive a culture of proactive, data-led iteration rather than reactive change;
• Collaborate with developers to ensure flawless implementation of design systems and interaction patterns;
Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead and mentor internal UX/UI designers, and coordinate external agencies or development partners;
• Align design direction with business goals, product strategy, and user research insights;
• Build and maintain a unified design system ensuring consistency across all products and platforms;
• Work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering leads to align on growth and customer engagement goals;
Data & Analytics
• Partner with the data team to integrate behavioral analytics (Mixpanel, GA4, Amplitude, etc.) into design decisions;
• Use data dashboards to proactively detect drop-offs and conversion issues across customer journeys;
• Combine quantitative (data) and qualitative (UX testing, feedback) insights to drive prioritization;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of UX/UI experience in digital products, ideally in fintech, payments, or large consumer platforms;
• Experience in top-tier environments such as Revolut, Klarna, Amazon Pay, PayPal, Alipay, or similar;
• Proven success designing and optimizing complex, regulated, payment-related user journeys;
• Strong command of UX research methods, user testing, and data analytics integration in design;
• Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent tools), prototyping platforms, and design system creation;
• Deep understanding of conversion funnels, behavioral data, and experience analytics;
• Strong collaboration skills with developers, data scientists, and compliance professionals;
• Excellent communication skills; able to balance creative vision with business logic and regulatory constraints;
• Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, analytical, and comfortable driving change in fast-moving environments.
