Senior Sales Representative
PrometalBakli SA - Tinplate Division
As a key member of the Tinplate Division, the Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and managing B2B customer relationships within the tinplate and metal sector. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and ensuring the profitable and sustainable growth of the company’s sales activities in both domestic and export markets. A key part of the role involves maintaining strong partnerships with industrial clients and optimizing the company’s commercial presence across the value chain. This position is part of a long-term growth plan, offering a clear pathway to a Sales Manager position.
Key Accountabilities
• Develop and manage existing and new B2B customer accounts in both domestic and international markets.
• Present technical solutions and product proposals aligned with customer requirements and product specifications.
• Monitor market trends, analyze competition, and recommend improvements to the commercial strategy.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and partnership terms with clients.
• Oversee order management, delivery timelines, and invoicing processes.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments to ensure accurate and timely order execution.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual and periodic sales forecasts, as well as the definition of sales targets and KPIs.
• Play an active role in training, mentoring, and supporting junior members of the sales team.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and commercial policies in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales of industrial or technical products, ideally in metals, raw materials, or construction materials.
• University degree, preferably in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical) or a related field.
• Additional studies or certifications in Economics, Business Administration, or Marketing will be considered an asset.
• Solid background in technical sales, preferably B2B, with the ability to combine commercial insight and technical understanding.
• Strong capability to comprehend technical applications and present tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, combined with commercial maturity and the ability to build long-term partnerships and a strong professional network.
• Consistency in meeting demanding timelines and flexibility to travel for business within Greece and abroad.
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
