The Embedded Software Engineer will join Theon’s Electronics Group to develop microcontroller and processor based embedded vision applications targeting advanced electro-optical systems for the defense sector. The main tasks of the Embedded Software engineer are, but not limiting, to: - Participate in the definition of the embedded system architecture. - Port embedded OS and develop low-level drivers for all system components. - Develop computer vision and communication applications on embedded processors and microcontrollers. - Perform system testing and debugging using lab equipment. Role Requirements - Degree qualified in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - Strong understanding & command of the programming language C/C++. - Familiarity with embedded systems concepts. - Familiarity of OS and driver development for embedded application processors. - Ability to use lab equipment like debuggers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes.
