Job Description
Job Title: Electrical Engineer Company: Archipetrol S.A. Location: Koropi ,Athens - Greece Job purpose:
Leads and takes the ownership of the specific tasks in a project:
- Performing design calculations, 2D and 3D design work,
- Technical responsibility of Material Requisition,
- Performing Design Calculations,
- Coordination with other disciplines,
- Forecasting of MTOs for his design area,
- Reviewing vendor documents.
Reporting lines and interactions:
Hierarchically reports to: Electrical Dept. Coordinator Operationally reports to: Lead Electrical Engineer Directly supervises (operationally): N/A
Key interactions (internally, externally):
Internally: Other discipline engineers, Project Engineers, Designers Externally: Vendors for the items procured, subcontractors
Profile:
Must have
• Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma (5-year degree)
• Problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills,
• Design / Drafting software experience (AUTOCAD etc.)
• Knowledge of general software (MS Office etc.)
• Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities
• Willing to work on a national and international environment
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Fluent in Greek (written and spoken)
Nice to have
• Field Engineering experience.
• Practical knowledge on electrical equipment (switchgears, motors, cables etc.)
• Knowledge of specific standards, codes and rules & regulations regarding electrical works for onshore engineering faculties
• Experience in design and execution of projects in onshore or offshore Electrical facilities
• Practical knowledge on electrical equipment (switchgears, motors, cables etc.) as well as practical knowledge of industrial and/or electrical systems
Main accountabilities:
Prepares updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering.
Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing valued engineering solutions.
Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers
Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget
Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the group leader.
Meets quality objectives of the project
Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
