Design Manager-Residential, and/or Hospitality Projects We are seeking a highly motivated Design Manager Residential High Rise to join the Residential Mainstream Department of the Residential Sports & MUT. The Design Manager for Residential Mainstream will be reporting to the Project Head Residential High Rise & Mainstream. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and management of the Design for the Mainstream within the Ellinikon Project, from planning to the detailed design stage. He/She will supervise and manage the design team and consultants/ advisors responsible for buildings, they will ensure that design fits the purpose, and objectives are met according to the Project Charter and Business Plan. He/She will also coordinate with the Senior Director Urban Planning and Permitting, in the Ellinikon project permit process. In detail, the Design Manager amongst others, will have the following responsibilities: • Master Planning: Participates in the development of the Master Planning of Ellinikon Project and is responsible for the design of the Mainstream as these have been defined in the Master Plan. He/she also provides all relevant technical information, including drawings, calculations, submissions, and other technical documents upon the request of the Project Head of Residential High Rise. • Design Management: Manages the design process of Buildings and Design Consultants/Technical Advisors related. He or she also provides the description of the scope of work for Design Consultants and defines the applicable design specifications, codes, requirements and deliverables. Of course, this person also monitors the Design Consultant’s performance and is responsible for the excellent information flow and communication among us. Ensures that the design information of buildings is of the right quality and keeps pace with project time schedule. • Design Review & Coordination: Offers advice and recommendations to his/her immediate supervisor on design approvals, reviews design submittals and participates in the design co-ordination process by sharing information with the project team. Our new colleague also co-ordinates stakeholders (Specialist designers, End users, Authorities, Project and Construction Managers, Contractors) for the immediate resolution of any technical matters that may arise at the design and construction stage. He or she also manages the design verification and validation from 3rd party for the Buildings. Finally, in this position, this person also participates in the approval of key project elements and sub-contractors, samples, mock-ups and quality benchmarks during the construction/ execution procedure • Participation in the Ellinikon Project Permit Process: Participates in the Permitting process of Ellinikon project by ensuring that the building designs meet legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate
